That's what friends are for
I will continue the saga of the Tahoe Trip later on but while in tahoe, I talked to a few close friends who bike and know me pretty well. I choked up and cried a little about not being able to ride but I still was out of the course and cheered and helped get water and snacks to riders.
This morning my buddy, who shall be known at the Flea sent me a little note...
"...so, i was thinking about you this morning on my drive in. you went to tahoe and were sad that you couldn't ride. but you needed to not ride this year so you could be there for the people that you helped to finish. it's fate and karma and all that. you were supposed to be there."
I love you Flea!

Hey Margaret, nice looking blog. I saw the URL at the bottom of your email today. I've got one of my own: www.verycommonrider.blogspot.com. Stop on by.
