Rock me, baby
So I've of the mind to make sure that my nephews start to listen to something other than baby Einstien music.
I'm itching to share aome Journey or Chicago. Duran Duran and Madonna. Lenine and Joao Gilberto - everything.
I think the first time I really heard rock and roll was in the eigth grade - I love Rock'n'Roll by Joan Jet - man the first time I heard that song...
Music is like math - a language everyone can understand.
However....
Stryper, In Sync and Menudo will be very much kep from the ears of my little puppies.
I take it that is what this little guy is stuck listening too.
Maybe it's Hall and Oats.

They look like little cybermen. Very disturbing pictures.

omg that IS disturbing... and uncanny.
My lil' dude listens to all kinds of stuff, and has been since he was still inside Mrs.Fist. Anything from the bubblegumish crap on Radio Disney to AC/DC, Phish, Parliment, Metallica, Rush... you name it. He often insists (screams) that I turn it up in the car when it's something really rockin'. He's a fan of many musicals as well.
I'm all for a wide variety. I think it helps keep them from becoming simple-minded.
Rock on lil' nephew dudes!
