ok, so i haven't been updating much about my training, I know I suck.
It's been strange out there, the weathers been cold and dry and for an asthmatic, not a good environment for the lungs. I can't wait to get out!!!
i've been riding in doors a bunch but it's not the same. I have some photo's from last year I'll post up this week.

An update on Dora - one of my honored team mates. She is the mother of a coworker - in her 70's and beating down cancer like it was a bad souffle. She's been doing well but has developed some pain and aches in her body. These are normal after chemo but still, very apinful. Keep her in your hearts and prayers!

So sleepy, and yet I'm up =)

greetings from my desk. I'm sleepy but just checking the weather for tomorrow. God willing, it'll will be over 38 degrees and I'll be able to train outdoors. FINGERS CROSSED.
So far, my donations have been coming in pretty well. I have faith that the folks who were able to donate last year can help me beat last years total =)

Recieved a $200 donation from a dear old friend who is a royal pain itnhe fanny but I love him dearly, so there you go =)

Sadly - my totals are lower than expected.
In the past TnT would give a rider $100 for everyone they refered to joining the event. I had 2 - that's $200
but now, no dice

Ear Aches, Fevers and 20%

So it's March and I have a stellar ear infection (mmm, attractive) coupled with a handsome fever (delightful)
After my trip to the doctor's, I came home, put on my jammies and watched a movie or 4. My dear little blue bike sitting on the trainer, calling me
"Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaggiiiiiiiiiiiii.... you can ride for a little bit, come on"
but I know I need to be healthy, so sadly my bike and I watched French Kiss for the billionth time.
The day perked up with a visit from a dear freind with BBQ chicken in hand (as you know, 9 out of 10 Doctor's recommend BBQ chicken for ear infections). Thanks Gregasourus Rex!
The perked up even more with a trip to the mail box...
HURRAY!!!! including the $100 for signing up a buddy of mine to do the ride today ( YEA NANCY) and the donations I recieved in the mail, current total [insert drum roll here]
$970!!YEAH! that is almost 20% of my goal!!!!
I'm so close! I'm a little scare - the thing about saying I'm going to raise $4000 is that I have to raise $4000 - if I raise $3000, I need to come up with the other $1000 to make... you guessed it $4000.
I think I'll be ok - I have faith.
